Kenneth Okonkwo Warns Peter Obi Against NDC Move

Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), revealed his advice to Peter Obi regarding his decision to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a presidential candidate. In a statement made on Friday, Okonkwo warned Obi that joining the NDC would make him a "mobil squatter," implying that the party lacks stability and integrity.

He emphasized that Obi's departure from the ADC to the NDC was a mistake, as he would be subject to the authority of the NDC's leadership, particularly Seriake Dickson, whom Okonkwo referred to as the "supreme leader" of the NDC. Okonkwo's comments reflect a broader concern about the ease with which individuals can switch parties, suggesting that such actions undermine the political landscape.

He cautioned that Obi's association with the NDC could lead to a toxic political environment, positioning Obi in a subordinate role within the party.
