Sister of Abducted Corps Member Appeals for Rescue

Chidinma, the sister of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member abducted in Kogi State, has made an emotional appeal to the Federal Government and security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue her sister and other victims. Her sister was taken on Wednesday while returning from a three-week orientation camp in Bayelsa State, where she was later posted to Niger State for her Place of Primary Assignment.

Chidinma expressed her family's grief over their mother's recent death and their inability to cope with another loss. She criticized the lack of effective action from authorities, stating that the abducted corps members are suffering in the forest and that the kidnappers are demanding a ransom that her family cannot afford.

Chidinma also refuted claims that some victims had been rescued, insisting that her sister remains missing. She urged the NYSC, police, and the government to take immediate action to ensure the safety of her sister and the other corps members.
