Mother of Musician OG Millan Loses Two Sons to Police Brutality

Oghenemin Ogidi, known as OG Millan, is a 28-year-old musician whose mother has publicly shared her tragic experience of losing two sons to police brutality. During a condolence visit by Harrison Gwamnishu, a former senior special assistant to the Delta State governor, she recounted the heartbreaking details of her ordeal.

She revealed that her first son was killed by police during an arrest at their home in 2022, and her second son was reportedly shot by police in what was claimed to be an exchange of gunfire. The mother expressed her anguish, stating that no mother should endure such pain twice.

This revelation comes amid public outrage over the reported death of Oghenemin Ogidi, who was allegedly shot by police officers in Effurun, Delta State. The emotional video of her recounting the incidents was shared on Instagram by Gwamnishu, highlighting the ongoing issues of police brutality in Nigeria.
