Nelson reflected on her career regret of stepping back from acting for a relationship, a decision she now deeply regrets.

She discussed a squandered opportunity with Akindele, whom she met around 2006 or 2007 when the Nigerian film industry was smaller. At that time, Nelson had been providing filming locations for productions and had crossed paths with Akindele, who encouraged her to formalize her involvement in the industry.

However, Nelson brushed off the opportunity due to rumors she had heard about the film sector. She admitted that she did not foresee Akindele's future success.
