Falz Declares No Political Support for Peter Obi

Folarin Falana, popularly known as 'Falz', clarified during an interview on 'Prime Time' on Arise Television that he has never openly supported Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, or any other politician. He made this statement on Tuesday, emphasizing that he has consistently encouraged Nigerians, especially the youth, to participate in the upcoming general elections.

Falana expressed his commitment to a free and fair democratic process, stating, “I haven’t stuck out my neck for any politician for obvious reasons.” He criticized the cyclical nature of Nigerian politics, noting that the same individuals are often reshuffled in leadership roles, making it difficult to support any politician confidently. Falana's remarks highlight his focus on strengthening democracy in Nigeria as the country approaches the 2026 elections.
