I served Nigeria well, no one can tarnish my record – Tambuwal speaks on arrest by EFCC

Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto South, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, asserted that no one can tarnish his record of service to Nigeria. Speaking to a large crowd of supporters in Sokoto, Tambuwal addressed his recent questioning by the EFCC, stating it was an attempt to intimidate him into joining the ruling APC.

He emphasized his long political career, serving as a member of the House of Representatives, Deputy Chief Whip, Speaker, and Governor of Sokoto State for eight years. Tambuwal refuted the allegations against him, declaring them baseless.

He expressed his commitment to democratic efforts and vowed to join forces with Nigerians to end misrule and misgovernance in the country. Tambuwal criticized the ruling party for policies harming ordinary people and creating insecurity.

He assured his supporters that he remains resolute in ensuring free and fair elections in 2023.
