Tambuwal: EFCC Can’t Intimidate Me, Says Ordeal Plot to Silence Him

Former Governor of Sokoto State and current Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has declared that neither the EFCC nor any political force can intimidate or silence him. After being released on bail by the EFCC following allegations of fraud amounting to N189 billion, Tambuwal maintained that the agency's actions were an attempt to silence him.

Despite being detained for 24 hours, he was later released on administrative bail. Tambuwal criticized the EFCC for refusing to vary his bail conditions and questioned the timing of their actions, suggesting a broader political plot against him.

He vowed to continue fighting for democratic governance in Sokoto State and criticized the ruling APC for deploying underhand tactics against political opponents. Tambuwal affirmed his commitment to the national rescue coalition and dismissed speculations about political realignment.
