Musa Would Contest Against Bago If Not for Zoning

Senator Moham Sani Musa from Niger East Senatorial District disclosed that he would have contested against Bago for the governorship seat in 2027 if not for the existing zoning arrangements. Musa made this statement during the flag-off of a foreign scholarship program at the APC secretariat in Minna.

He lamented his inability to run against the incumbent governor due to these zoning arrangements. Musa accused certain individuals of helping to win elections while simultaneously attempting to discredit him, asserting that he remains one of the strongest members of the APC in the state.

His comments come in the wake of a viral video where the governor mentioned that the APC's support in Suleja does not serve the interests of the senator.
