Karimi Advocates Unity in APC for 2027 Elections

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District and currently the Chairman of the Senate Service Committee, called for unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking to supporters after a strategic meeting with key stakeholders, including local government chairmen and party candidates, Karimi stressed that his commitment to peace stems from his desire to make heaven, highlighting the importance of accountability for one's actions.

He urged party members to set aside differences to ensure a strong showing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid, stating that unity is crucial for sustaining the achievements of the APC-led administration. Karimi commended President Tinubu for addressing Nigeria's security challenges and mentioned the proposed establishment of state police as a measure to enhance security.

He called on APC members in Kogi West to remain loyal to the party and focus on building a united front for electoral success.
