Karimi Advocates Unity in Kogi APC for 2027 Elections

Senator Sundai Steve Karimi, representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to set aside divisions and work collaboratively following the party's primaries. In a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Karimi described the political contest as a temporary stress that should not affect the party's unity.

He expressed gratitude to Almighty God for granting strength and wisdom throughout the primary process. Karimi acknowledged the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahm Usman Ododo for their commitment to strengthening the party and democracy in Kogi State.

He also appreciated former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his contributions to the party's growth. Karimi emphasized the importance of reconciliation, urging party members to focus on their common purpose and work towards a united front for the 2027 general elections, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of progress.
