Governor Amuneke Rejects Bribe to Alter Satirical Content

In an interview on Arise Television, Governor Amuneke, also known as Kevin Chinedu or Kevinblak, disclosed that he was approached by members of a political party who offered him dollars to modify his satirical skits that criticize politicians. This offer came at a particularly vulnerable time for him, shortly after his wife underwent a caesarean section, which added financial strain.

Despite the pressure, Amuneke firmly rejected the offer, stating that he holds strong principles regarding his content creation and the accountability of public officials. When asked about the political party involved, he chose not to disclose its name, referring to it as a fictional political figure in his skits.

He also mentioned that friends within his inner circle encouraged him to accept the money, but he remained resolute in his decision to decline.
