Governor Amuneke Rejects INEC Youth Ambassador Role

Governor Amuneke, a popular skitmaker and content creator, declined the appointment as a youth ambassador for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He initially felt honored by the recognition of his work but ultimately decided against accepting the role due to its restrictions, particularly regarding the criticism of INEC.

Amuneke stated that while he encourages civic participation and voter registration, he could not accept a position that would limit his ability to critique the electoral body. He expressed that accepting the role would create a conflict with his foundation's satirical-driven content and would undermine the message he conveys to his audience.

Amuneke highlighted the importance of freedom of expression in his work and appreciated the offer but chose to prioritize his creative independence.
