Umo Eno Claims Fulfillment of Promises in Akwa Ibom

During a speech marking the third anniversary of his administration, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State asserted that his government has fulfilled its promises to the people made during the 2023 election campaign. He outlined significant achievements over the past three years, including advancements in agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Eno attributed his administration's success to the support of Akwa Ibom residents and President Bola Tinubu. Key initiatives mentioned include the launch of an oil palm revolution program, the completion of 1,300 kilometers of roads and 40 bridges, and the recruitment of 1,000 teachers and 2,854 medical personnel.

Eno also noted the ongoing work on a 350-bed Ibom International Hospital and investments in tourism and aviation, including the expansion of Ibom Air. He announced the next phase of his administration, tagged "Arise 2.0," which aims to complete 85 additional projects across various sectors by 2027.

Eno urged political actors to conduct themselves peacefully and avoid political bitterness.
