Tinubu Calls Buhari a Partner in Governance Amid Economic Challenges

On Thursday, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the current President of Nigeria, received a delegation led by Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, at the State House in Abuja. During this meeting, Tinubu emphasized that he would not look back on the economy, referring to his predecessor, the late Muhammadu Buhari, as a partner in governance.

He acknowledged the difficulties faced in the journey of economic reform, stating that the efforts made by Buhari's administration should be recognized. Tinubu urged the ambassador to intensify grassroots mobilization and reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to uphold democratic principles, including the rule of law and the separation of powers.

He reiterated the government's focus on economic growth and creating opportunities for the youth, ensuring that every Nigerian has a stake in the country's future. Tinubu called on citizens to resist misinformation from opposition elements.
