Ibile Justice Forum Raises Alarm Over Illegal Mining Activities in Ogun State

The Ibile Justice Forum, a nonprofit organization, has expressed alarm over illegal mining activities in Ogun State, particularly in Iloro Iloro II and Ibiri villages within the Ado Odo community. The group highlighted the negative impact of mining on agricultural settlements and the environment, accusing Saf Invest Properties Company Limited of exploiting the community.

Despite a government directive to halt mining activities, the company has defied orders, causing tension and fear among residents.
