ICPC Secures Conviction of Sokoto River Basin Director for Corruption

The ICPC has secured the conviction of Rabiu Musa Matazu, the Director of Administration at Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, for diverting public funds for personal use. Matazu pleaded guilty to charges of criminal breach of trust and abuse of office, involving the misappropriation of agency funds for personal benefit.

The conviction was obtained at the Katsina State High Court, highlighting the commitment to combating corruption and ensuring accountability in public office.
