ICPC Tracks N4.61bn Federal Projects in Zamfara

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is currently tracking 35 federal government projects in Zamfara, valued at N4.61 billion. Dr.

Murtala Bankano, the team leader for this tracking exercise, provided a briefing in Gusau on Saturday. The initiative aims to ensure value for money and effective implementation of government projects across the country.

The projects span six sectors, including education, health, water resources, power, agriculture, and empowerment, with varying degrees of completion. Bankano urged contractors to return to the projects and address any issues, as the exercise awaits a report from the National Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) to determine specific project concerns.

The ICPC's goal is to ensure that projects are executed according to standards and that funds are utilized effectively.
