ICWAE and COPESA Launch 2026-2030 Blueprint in Nigeria

The International Caribbean Women Alliance (ICWAE) and COPESA initiatives launched their blueprint for 2026-2030 in Nigeria, emphasizing community participation and empowerment for sustainable development. The event took place across three selected states—Nasarawa, Anambra, and Ekiti—connected via live Zoom coverage.

It was moderated by Yvelin Dalmaci, President and Founder of ICWAE. Key speakers included Dr.

Jean Palem Mathurin and Dr. Iren Figaro, highlighting the importance of grassroots participation in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to gender rights and empowerment.

The blueprint aims to create opportunities for marginalized groups, particularly women, children, and people living with disabilities. The launch was attended by various stakeholders, including Amb.

Oladejo, and representatives from multiple nonprofit organizations. The event was officially declared a significant step towards implementing the United Nations' global goals at the local level.
