Nigerian siblings, Sarah and Mahathir Idongesit, participated in the Fencing World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, gaining crucial international exposure for the upcoming 2026 Commonwealth Championship. Sarah showcased a promising performance in the women's epee event, advancing from the pool stage but eventually losing in the knockout round to Russia's Viktoriya Ramenskova.
