Ronke Oshodi-Oke Defends Politician Support for Livelihood

Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, addressed her acceptance of financial support from politicians during an interview with the African A-List podcast on YouTube. She emphasized that if people see her associated with any political figure, it should be understood as her effort to secure a means of livelihood, stating, “If you see me behind any politician, anybody, just see it as if she is looking for something to put food on the table.” Ojo urged the public not to insult or criticize her for this choice.

Furthermore, she expressed her disinterest in discussing Nigerian politics, labeling it as "dirty," while affirming that individuals have the freedom to vote for their preferred candidates. She reiterated, “Nigeria politics is dirt so I do not want to talk about it,” indicating her desire to avoid political discourse.
