IG Promotes 374 Officers in Kwara State Police Command

The Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved the promotion of 374 officers within the Kwara State Police Command as part of efforts to reward diligent and professional service in the Nigeria Police Force. This promotion is part of a nationwide initiative to elevate deserving personnel across different ranks.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer for Kwara State Command, Adetoun Ejir Adeyemi, the promotions include 365 police constables elevated to the rank of corporal, two corporals promoted to sergeant, and five sergeants promoted to the rank of inspector. Additionally, two superintendents of police advanced to the rank of chief superintendent of police.

The Commissioner of Police for Kwara State, Ojo Adekimi, congratulated the newly promoted officers, recognizing their commitment and invaluable contributions to maintaining law and order. He emphasized that these promotions should be seen as a reward for outstanding performance and called for greater responsibility among the officers.
