Igbo Community in Taraba Endorses Gov Kefas for 2027

The Igbo Community Association (ICA), Jalingo Branch, has officially endorsed Governor Agbu Kefas as their preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Taraba State. This endorsement was communicated in a letter dated July 3, 2026, and signed by the President-General, Deacon Michael C.

Adili. The association's decision followed a thorough evaluation of Governor Kefas’ accomplishments during his three-year tenure, particularly his initiatives aimed at enhancing development and addressing insecurity in the state.

The letter emphasized that the endorsement was a unanimous decision made by the community, independent of political influences. The association expressed confidence that re-electing Governor Kefas would not only meet immediate developmental needs but also contribute to a better future for the younger generation.

Additionally, the ICA commended the administration's free education policy, which has significantly alleviated the financial burden of school fees on parents.
