IGP Disu Enhances Police Training and Officer Welfare

On Wednesday, Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu attended the closing ceremony of a training program for the Police Mobile Force (PMF) held in Nasarawa State. This event is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership capacity and operational effectiveness within the Nigeria Police Force.

During his visit, Disu inspected training facilities, including a simulated ground shooting range, and participated in tactical exercises that demonstrated leadership examples. He reinforced the importance of continuous scenario-based training for modern policing and emphasized the need for discipline and adherence to human rights principles.

Disu commended the squadron command for successfully completing the intensive training program and urged officers to translate their acquired knowledge into improved leadership and operational discipline. He reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing officer welfare and operational capacity across the PMF, assuring that efforts will be sustained to adequately equip the force to respond effectively to evolving security challenges nationwide.
