IGP Egbetokun deploys two additional armoured vehicles to Kebbi

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has deployed two additional Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) to enhance security operations in Kebbi State. The deployment was announced in a statement by the governor's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Bello Muhammad Sani, presented the vehicles to Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. The governor expressed confidence that the APCs would help address security challenges in the state, particularly in farming communities affected by bandit attacks.

Following the presentation, the Commissioner of Police accompanied the governor on an inspection of the vehicles. This move is part of ongoing efforts to improve security and combat criminal activities in Kebbi State.
