IGP Egbetokun Reshuffles DPOs for Abuja Elections

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Egbetokun, has announced a reshuffle of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of the area council elections set for Saturday. This decision was confirmed in a statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Office on Friday, representing the Commission of Police.

The redeployment is part of proactive measures to strengthen operational effectiveness and uphold the highest professional standards during the elections. The police assured residents of their readiness to facilitate a free, fair, and credible electoral process.
