Nigerian comedian and actor Ijoba Lande has accused officers attached to the Area J Division of the Lagos State Police Command of assault and theft. A video circulating widely on social media shows Ijoba Lande with visible facial injuries, including bloodstains around his eye.

The footage indicates that the incident occurred at a police facility. Ijoba Lande reported that the officers physically assaulted him, seized his iPhone 16 Pro Max, and took $1,200 cash that belonged to his brother.

The popular content creator, known for his comedy skits and roles in Yoruba Nollywood films, expressed trauma and is seeking redress for the alleged misconduct.
