Governor Bala Mohammed Reaffirms Commitment to PDP

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State addressed journalists following Eid prayers marking the end of Ramadan, amid growing rumors of a potential defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He firmly stated his commitment to the People's Democratic Party (PDP), dismissing claims of plans to leave the party as false and baseless.

Mohammed acknowledged the internal challenges within the PDP but expressed optimism that party leaders would collaboratively address the situation ahead of the 2027 general elections. He urged politicians to avoid divisive politics and focus on unity and healthy competition.
