Bode George Vows Loyalty to PDP Amid Internal Crisis

Chief Olabode George, the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has publicly declared his unwavering commitment to the party despite ongoing internal conflicts. Addressing journalists at his residence in Ikoyi, he dismissed claims by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, that his faction has taken control of the PDP's structure in Lagos, labeling Wike's assertions as "daydreaming." George emphasized the PDP's significance as a pillar of Nigeria's democracy and expressed concern over the party's current challenges.

He also addressed the judiciary's role in a letter to the Chairman of the National Judicial Council, urging it to uphold its constitutional duties regarding a pending case involving the PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). George reiterated his commitment to truth and integrity within the party, stating, "Until I die, I will tell the truth to power.".
