Bode George Disgusted Over Court Ruling on PDP Ibadan Convention

Bode George, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed his displeasure over a court ruling that nullified the party's 2025 national convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State on November 15, 2025. The Federal High Court in Ibadan nullified the convention led by the National Working Committee (NWC) and recognized a faction led by Wike.

The court ruling was presided over by Justice Uch Agomoh, with Tanimu Turaki as a member. George, in an interview on Arise Television, expressed absolute disgust over the judgment that recognized the Wike-led faction over the NWC-led convention.

The ruling also questioned the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in monitoring the convention.
