Peter Obi Declares 2027 Presidential Bid Amid APC Pressure

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate for the Labour Party, declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election. He emphasized that he is not intimidated by the 30 governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who he believes are attempting to discourage his candidacy.

Obi made this announcement during a grace empowerment program in Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, where he was represented by Hon. Georg Ozodinobi.

He criticized the current state of Nigeria, stating that the country is on the brink of collapse and requires urgent redemption. Obi expressed his commitment to ensuring a fair electoral process, urging for free and fair elections.
