Atiku Abubakar Critiques Tinubu's Economic Policies

Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria and a chieftain of the ADC, criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration for what he termed "organized hardship" affecting Nigerians. In a statement issued on Sunday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku expressed that the current economic conditions reflect a reality of relentless hardship rather than the promised renewal of hope.

He noted that despite rising global oil prices, Nigerians are sinking deeper into poverty, facing soaring food prices and chaotic exchange rates. Atiku condemned the government's reliance on abstract economic theories, stating that the real-life implications of policies are being ignored.

He called for urgent action from the federal government to stabilize prices, revive small businesses, and protect vulnerable populations. Atiku warned that the current debt burden and economic policies are leading to despair for ordinary Nigerians, urging leadership to engage with the struggles of the populace rather than remain detached.
