ADC Re-elects James Okoroma as Imo State Chairman

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) held its state congress in Imo State, where James Okoroma was re-elected as chairman alongside 15 other executive committee members. The congress, conducted by a committee from the ADC national headquarters led by Okem Uk, took place at Kanu Nwankwo Sport Arena in Owerri.

Key figures such as former governor Emeka Ihedioha expressed satisfaction with the party's progress, noting that the party has registered 200,000 members across 27 council areas in the state. Achike Udenwa, another former governor, commended the party's organization and the conduct of the congress.

Okoroma, in his acceptance speech, thanked party leaders and members for the opportunity to serve and promised to work diligently to strengthen the party's foundation in the state. The congress was deemed a success, building on previous ward and local government area congresses.
