Nigerian Satellite Week 2026 Set for March in Abuja

The Nigerian Satellite Week 2026 is scheduled for March 30-31 in Abuja, organized by NigComSat, and aims to gather top government officials, industry leaders, and technology innovators to discuss Nigeria's space and digital infrastructure agenda. This second edition is expected to attract the largest high-level participation yet, including cabinet ministers, defense chiefs, and financial institutions.

Jane Egerton-Idehen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NigComSat, emphasized Nigeria's long-term commitment to developing sovereign space capabilities. The event will feature startup demonstrations from African deep technology startups, showcasing innovations in satellite applications across agriculture, logistics, and healthcare.

A forum will convene policymakers and industry players to address regulatory and investment challenges in Nigeria's satellite ecosystem. The event will culminate in a gala night honoring individuals and institutions contributing to the growth of Nigeria's space sector, alongside the launch of the Accelerate Cohort 3.0 initiative by NigComSat to support early-stage ventures in satellite technology.
