Jibrin Ibrahim Accuses INEC Chairman of Partisanship

Jibrin Ibrahim, a senior fellow at the Centre for Democracy Development, publicly accused Prof. Joash Amupitan, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), of partisanship during an interview on Arise Television. Ibrahim alleged that Amupitan has shown clear evidence of partisanship shortly after his appointment, suggesting that he is intervening to target the main opposition party without any legal justification.

He characterized Amupitan's actions as serving the interests of his "master," indicating a lack of impartiality in his role as INEC Chairman.
