INEC Chairman Amupitan to Speak at Electoral Dialogue

Prof. Joash Amupitan, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at a high-level electoral dialogue organized by the Abuja-based law firm, Law Corridor.

This event will take place on April 29, 2026, at the Abuja Continental Hotel. The dialogue aims to bring together leaders from political parties, civil society organizations, and local and international electoral observers to deliberate on key issues affecting Nigeria's electoral system.

Notable experts expected to attend include Muyiwa Atoyebi, Seun Okinbaloy, Bala Maiyaki, Ahm Raji, Patrick Ikwueto, Alhassan Umar, Dantel Yusuf, and Bukola Idowu. The organizers emphasize the importance of fostering collaboration among stakeholders in both the public and private sectors to address the challenges ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Henri Kelechukwu Eni Otu, the managing partner at Law Corridor, highlighted the critical nature of this dialogue in light of the upcoming elections, aiming to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
