INEC Deploys 4,427 BVAS for Osun Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the deployment of 4,427 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) devices for the upcoming governorship election in Osun State scheduled for August 15, 2026. INEC Chairman, Prof.

To promote inclusivity, PVC collection has been extended to July 31, 2026. A Mock Accreditation will take place on August 1, 2026, across 12 selected Local Government Areas.
Amupitan assured that stolen PVCs can be blacklisted and reprinted for affected voters.
