Sowore Challenges Tinubu on Educational Credentials

On Monday, outside the Federal High Court in Abuja, Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), mocked President Bola Tinubu regarding his academic credentials following their publication by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Sowore stated that it is not too late for Tinubu to enroll in adult education or online learning programs to obtain primary and secondary school certificates.

He emphasized that Tinubu had opportunities to further his education since 2020. Additionally, Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), expressed disappointment over the omission of Tinubu's primary and secondary school qualifications in the INEC documents, questioning how the form was accepted without complete information.

The discussion around Tinubu's educational history has resurfaced as political activities ramp up ahead of the 2027 general election.
