Sowore Urges Tinubu to Pursue Adult Education Online

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), called for President Bola Tinubu to enroll in adult education following discrepancies in the academic credentials he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 general election. Sowore made these remarks on Monday after a Federal High Court session in Abuja, highlighting the lack of details regarding Tinubu's primary and secondary education in the INEC documents.

He alleged that Tinubu's educational records have been inconsistent, noting that the president initially presented a certificate from the University of Chicago but later submitted one from Chicago State University. Sowore stated, “The presidential candidate of the APC did not go to primary school.

He did not go to secondary school,” and suggested that Tinubu should consider online education. Additionally, he urged Nigerians to recognize the deteriorating conditions under the current administration.

INEC had published the personal particulars and academic credentials of presidential candidates, including Tinubu's Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Chicago State University, awarded with honors on June 22, 1979, and his NYSC discharge certificate from Oyo State.
