INEC Presents Certificate Of Return To Zamfara Assembly By-election Winner

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presented the Certificate of Return to Kamilu Saidu, the winner of the Zamfara State House Assembly South Constituency by-election held on August 21, 2025. The certificate was handed to Saidu by the resident electoral commissioner, Isah, at a ceremony held at the INEC headquarters in Gusau.

Isah praised the transparency, fairness, and professionalism of the election despite efforts by some to tarnish the commission's image for selfish interests. Saidu, in his response, thanked God for his victory and pledged to diligently serve as a good representative of his constituents.

The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, also expressed gratitude to INEC and security agencies for their professionalism in ensuring a successful election, noting that the victory is a testament to the party's popularity.
