APC defeats PDP in Zamfara bye-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kamilu Sa'idu Wanban Kasuwar Daji, as the winner of the supplementary election in the Kaura Namoda South State Constituency in Zamfara State. The Returning Officer, Professor Lawal Sa'ad of the Federal University Gusau, announced that the APC candidate received the highest number of votes, defeating the closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Kamilu Sa'idu met all legal requirements and was duly declared the winner and elected to represent the constituency. The final results showed that the APC candidate polled a certain number of votes, while the PDP candidate scored fewer votes.
