APC candidate wins Zamfara by-election

The Zamfara by-election for the Kaura Namoda South State House Assembly seat was won by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Kamilu Sa'id. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Sa'id the winner after he received the highest number of votes in the election held in five polling units within Kyambarawa Saikajiki ward.

The APC candidate garnered more votes than the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, meeting INEC's requirements for victory. The APC's publicity secretary in Zamfara state, Malam Yusuf Idris, praised the victory and commended the people of Kaura Namoda South for their support.

Despite alleged efforts by the ruling PDP to manipulate the election, the APC's popularity prevailed, demonstrating the party's strong presence in the state.
