INEC Reveals Over 4 Million Nigerians Registered Online for Voter Registration

INEC has released the latest figures for the ongoing nationwide online voter registration in Nigeria, with over four million Nigerians having registered online since the exercise began on August 18, 2025. The registration process has seen active participation from both male and female citizens, particularly those aged 18-34, including students.

The highest number of registrations was recorded in Osun State, followed by Lagos State. The physical registration process has also been significant, with Anambra State's registration temporarily suspended due to preparations for an upcoming governorship poll.

The figures reflect strong civic engagement ahead of future elections in Nigeria.
