INEC Uploads 92% of FCT Chairmanship Election Results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has successfully uploaded 92.2% of the results from the recent chairmanship elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This figure represents outcomes from 2,602 polling units out of a total of 2,822.

The upload rates varied across the six area councils, with the Municipal Area Council achieving the highest volume of submissions at 93.43%. Gwagwalada led with a completion rate of 97.63%, while Kuje recorded the lowest at 79.01%.

Specific wards within these councils also showed varying levels of success in result uploads, with Gwagwalada Central Ward achieving a 100% upload rate. The data compilation indicates that while most councils surpassed the 90% mark, Kuje lagged behind, reflecting challenges in the upload process.

The results are expected to be fully available by Saturday.
