Pastor Adeboye Urges Action Against Northern Terrorism

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), voiced his alarm regarding the escalating terrorism and kidnapping incidents in Northern Nigeria, stating that these issues have now reached his doorstep. Speaking at the Nigeria Faith Hero Award Gala organized by the Save Nigeria Group in Washington, Adeboye lamented the deteriorating security situation, emphasizing that it has worsened to the point where people are fearful to travel freely.

He called on President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to take immediate action, urging the military to set a 90-day deadline to eliminate the threats posed by terrorists and bandits. Adeboye criticized politicians and businessmen who support these criminal activities, stressing that without decisive action against them, the violence will persist.

He highlighted the need for the government to provide weapons and support to the military to combat these threats effectively.
