NAF Graduates 111 Special Forces Operators in Bauchi

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) graduated 111 operators from its special forces training program on March 13, 2026, at the Regiment Training Centre Annex in Bauchi. This initiative aims to enhance the NAF's capacity to support ongoing air and joint military operations against insurgency nationwide.

According to a statement from the NAF's spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the rigorous training program was designed to produce highly skilled, combat-ready personnel capable of responding to Nigeria's evolving security challenges. Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, attended the graduation ceremony, commending the graduates for their success and urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discipline.

Squadron Leader E.L. Akpan expressed appreciation for the unwavering support for special forces training, reaffirming the center's commitment to producing resilient operators capable of executing specialized tasks across diverse operational environments.

The ceremony included tactical demonstrations showcasing the graduates' skills in obstacle crossing, self-defense techniques, and air assault operations.
