Nigerian Army Graduates 3,000 Recruits in Ebonyi State

On a recent date, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Wednesdai, presided over the passing out ceremony of 3,000 newly trained recruits at the Nigerian Army Depot in Amasiri Edda, Ebonyi State. The ceremony emphasized the importance of upholding the highest standards of discipline, loyalty, and professionalism within the military.

A statement from the Nigerian Army's spokesperson, Colonel Appolonia Anel, indicated that this graduation represents a significant reinforcement of the army's manpower capacity as the federal government intensifies efforts to address current security challenges and strengthen national defense. The exercise follows a similar recent graduation at the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria and the newly established training depot in Osogbo, Osun State.

Lt. Gen. Wednesdai urged the recruits to remain vigilant and disciplined, stressing the importance of loyalty to constitutional authority. The event was attended by senior military officials, government representatives, traditional rulers, and dignitaries, highlighting the Nigerian Army's commitment to building a disciplined and combat-ready force capable of addressing emerging security threats.
