Northern Leaders Meet in Kaduna to Address Insecurity

On Tuesday, a high-level meeting was held in Kaduna, led by Sultan Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, involving prominent traditional rulers and Islamic scholars from across Northern Nigeria. The gathering was organized by the Sultan Foundation for Peace Development, which focuses on promoting peace, national unity, education, healthcare delivery, and humanitarian support for vulnerable communities.

Key attendees included Emir Zazzau Malam Ahm Nuhu Bamal, Shehu Borno Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al Amin El Kanemi, Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, Emir Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, and others. The meeting, held behind closed doors, aimed to strengthen collaboration among traditional institutions and religious leaders to address security challenges, promote peace and coexistence, and improve access to education and healthcare.

The Sultan Foundation continues to implement programs focused on peacebuilding, girl child education, primary healthcare, nutrition, and humanitarian support across Nigeria.
