Northern SSGs Meet in Kaduna to Address Security Issues

On Tuesday, the secretaries of government from 19 northern states convened at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna to establish a common agenda for the upcoming Northern State Governors Forum meeting. The gathering, led by Professor Ibrahim Njodi, emphasized the need to address persistent security challenges in Northern Nigeria.

The meeting was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Moham Goje, marking his first attendance following his recent appointment.

The forum aims to develop practical solutions to issues such as banditry, kidnapping, and poverty, while also focusing on education and economic development. The governors are expected to review and implement previous resolutions and consider additional measures to promote peace and sustainable development across the region.
