Akpabio Promises End to Insecurity in Nigeria Soon

On Wednesday, Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, assured Nigerians that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dedicated to resolving the issue of insecurity in Nigeria. Akpabio made this statement while receiving members of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria, led by National President Dr Lima Ahmed, at the National Assembly.

He emphasized that President Tinubu is giving the insecurity situation his utmost attention, referencing the recent release of schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State as evidence of the administration's efforts. Akpabio expressed confidence that insecurity would soon be a thing of the past and advised against relying on social media for accurate information about the situation in Nigeria.

He also discussed the challenges women face in supporting one another politically, attributing it to past negative experiences. Akpabio pledged his support for the upcoming international ladies’ tournament at the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja and was honored as the Grand Patron of the association.
