Ahmedabad Chosen Over Abuja for 2030 Commonwealth Games

The decision came after a competitive evaluation process, with concerns over escalating costs leading to the withdrawal of potential hosts.

Nigeria's bid aimed to showcase the country's sporting development and infrastructure upgrades, while India's proposal highlighted substantial existing infrastructure investments. The final decision will be confirmed at the Commonwealth General Assembly in Glasgow in November.
